To inspire the next generation of snowboarding enthusiasts, Red Bull Media House, in collaboration with Brain Farm Digital Cinema, has unveiled the cinematic masterpiece *The Art of FLGHT*. Directed personally by Curt Morgan, the film celebrated its global premiere at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Deeply thought-provoking, *The Art of FLGHT* seamlessly blends extreme sports with compelling storytelling, character development, and emotional depth. Every single shot in the movie was captured using cutting-edge filming techniques—many of which were custom-designed and built specifically for this groundbreaking production.
Thrilling and breathtaking snowboarding maneuvers, a heart-wrenching journey of adventure—combined with an essential storyline—the film offers audiences a one-of-a-kind experience, allowing them to intimately and authentically connect with the dedication and spirit of snowboarders from the very first moment. Featuring renowned rider Travis Rice alongside some of the world’s most talented snowboarding experts, this cinematic masterpiece marks an unprecedented opportunity for viewers to get up close and personal with the sport, catching a glimpse of these legendary athletes right in their element on the big screen. After two years of meticulous production, the film finally unveils the limitless potential of snowboarding to audiences worldwide.
"Through the skaters' complete dedication to the film, we were able to authentically convey to audiences the journey—travelling thousands of miles across the globe—to discover breathtakingly perfect locations and environments perfectly suited for filming," Rice explained. "All our hard work and the challenges we faced have been seamlessly woven into this incredible movie, and throughout the entire process, we managed to maintain a solid grasp on the film's pacing."
Rice joins other snowboarders, including John Jackson—twice named Rider of the Year—as well as Mark Landvik, Olympic medalist Scotty Lago, Nicolas Muller, DCP, Jake Blauvelt, Pat Moore, Jeremy Jones, and others. These riders frequently venture into untouched, uncharted ski regions—places like the Darwin Range in Chilean Patagonia, the Tordrillo Range in Alaska, the Snake River Range in Wyoming, Aspen, Colorado, the Andes, and the Kootenay Mountains, Revelstoke, and Goat Range in British Columbia—all in search of that one perfect shot.

Brain Farm Cinema produces a variety of films centered on culture and wildlife, as well as thrilling snowboarding movies shot using the company’s cutting-edge, specialized equipment. From the Cineflex V14 to the Phantom HD Gold, Brain Farm Cinema relied on an array of high-end filming technologies and tools to bring this project to life.
