Look!!! The snowmobile at the new Snow Kingdom ski resort is starting up—vroom vroom!

The "Blue Sky Carnival" event at the Xin Xuegu Ski Resort recently took place in Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. The event featured a top-tier international aerobatic airshow, dynamic and static aircraft displays, and immersive flight experiences. Notably, during the event, the Xin Xuegu Flight Team unveiled a 420㎡ aerial artwork—making it the first of its kind in China and setting a new record for the largest-ever airborne display.
It is understood that "Xin Xueguo" is a project in Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou, where Beijing Bailong Green Technology Enterprise Corporation has invested a total of 10.9 billion yuan. Once completed, the project will become China's premier ski destination, boasting the longest ski run and the greatest vertical drop in the country. Additionally, "Xin Xueguo" will be developed into an integrated leisure, tourism, vacation, and livable city, combining year-round skiing with services such as cosmetic surgery, green agriculture, education, cutting-edge technology, and elderly care.
Meanwhile, the Xueshenguo Ski Resort has invested 100 million yuan to purchase an EC155b helicopter, which will be used for emergency rescues at the resort, making it China's first ski resort equipped with a rescue helicopter.
On the 11th, over a hundred aviation enthusiasts from Beijing and Hebei gathered at the Xin Xuegu Ski Resort to feast their eyes on an unforgettable spectacle. As a Bell 407 helicopter led two Robinson R44 Tucano helicopters in simultaneously lifting three massive 420-square-meter aerial canvases into the sky, the entire "Blue Sky Carnival" event reached its thrilling climax.
Reportedly, this was the inaugural flight performance by the Xin Xueguo Flight Team, featuring an aerial display that unfolded a 420-square-meter "canvas"—a first of its kind in China. The flight captain noted that it posed an enormous technical challenge for helicopters to unfurl a canvas more than 30 times larger than their own projected area while airborne.
This event features top-tier international aerobatic performances, dynamic and static aircraft displays, and hands-on flight experiences. Notably, the "General Aviation Photo Exhibition" stands out—showcasing the development of general aviation in China through engaging visuals and captions. Meanwhile, pilots deliver informative and entertaining explanations of aviation basics to audiences, making learning both fun and accessible.
"This is a significant event that allows audiences to get up close and personal with the allure of aviation, helping to promote and popularize general aviation culture. Additionally, flight attendants from the newly established Xueguo General Aviation Company took the stage to showcase their professional image and engage in lively interactions with attendees," said the event organizer.
Additionally, internationally renowned violinist Gao Can delighted the audience with his heavenly music—remarkably, the violin he used for his performance is 400 years old.
According to reports, since Xinxueguo invested nearly 100 million yuan to purchase EC155B helicopters, becoming the first ski resort in China equipped with the most advanced aerial rescue capabilities, Xinxueguo has been making frequent moves in its second key area—aviation. In November 2014, Xinxueguo made a single purchase of over 160 aircraft at the Zhuhai Airshow; and in May 2015, seven major airlines signed agreements to establish operations at Xinxueguo. Currently, Xinxueguo is actively planning two airports, along with complementary industry chains that include flight sales, aircraft management, training services, and tourism-related offerings.
