After careful consideration, it has been decided to hold the 2025 China·Sanmenxia Crossing the Mother River event during the 30th Sanmenxia Yellow River Cultural and Tourism Festival. Members of the Chinese Swimming Association, national adult swimming clubs, swimming associations, winter swimming associations, and other sports-oriented swimming organizations; specially invited teams; and swimming enthusiasts from home and abroad.(1) Swimming Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, Chinese Swimming Association;(II) Henan Provincial Sports Bureau;(III) Sports Bureaus of Cities Across Henan Province;(4) Yellow River Golden Triangle Regional Sports Bureau;(5) News media at all levels.(1) The competition will follow the swimming competition rules and relevant management regulations issued by the Swimming Sports Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Swimming Association.(II) All events in the racing category will feature a single final round, with rankings determined strictly by performance. In cases of tied scores, athletes will share the same ranking, and the next position will be skipped entirely.(3) The race groups will be determined based on the actual number of registered teams and participants, as decided by the event organizing committee. Judges reserve the right to merge teams on-site if necessary.(4) Participants must check in at the registration desk 30 minutes before the start of the competition. During registration, they must present both their event participant card and personal ID to the registration judge; those without proper identification will not be allowed to compete.(5) Athletes are not permitted to compete under someone else's name. On-site registration will be verified using the original second-generation ID card and other valid forms of identification; athletes whose credentials fail verification will be barred from participation.(6) Anyone found to have impersonated another or submitted false information will have their competition results, rankings, and any associated rewards disqualified.(7) Swimmers must wear the swimming safety equipment uniformly provided by the organizing committee—swimming floats known as "Butterfly Floats" and swim caps (for competitors in the racing category, swim caps will be distributed at the pre-race check-in area by the organizing committee)—otherwise, their results will not be counted.
(II) The crossing event this timeThis event is limited to 5,000 participants for the Open Water category and 2,000 for the Competitive Race category. There’s no limit on the number of entries per organization, and participants can register for both the Open Water and Competitive Race categories if they choose.(III) Participants must submit a "Voluntary Participation Health and Safety Responsibility Commitment Letter" signed by themselves and pay the registration fee to complete the registration process.(IV) Health Requirements for Participants1. Swimming competitions are a physically demanding sport that place high demands on participants' physical condition. Participants should be in good health and have a solid foundation of regular swimming practice or training. Individuals may register based on their own fitness level and personal capabilities. The organizing committee requires all competitors to undergo a pre-event health check-up at a qualified medical facility (at district or county level and above) prior to the competition.The following individuals should not participate in the competition:① Patients with congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease;② Patients with hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases;③ Patients with myocarditis and other heart conditions;④ Patients with coronary artery disease and severe arrhythmias;⑤ Diabetic patients with blood sugar levels that are too high or too low;⑥ Individuals who have experienced fever or high fever within the 30 days prior to the competition;⑧ Others who are not suitable for this sport.If participants violate the rules without authorization, they shall be solely responsible for all resulting consequences.2. After the participating athletes complete check-in and verification, they should perform warm-up exercises at the starting point. Athletes who fail to attend the second check-in will be considered to have forfeited their participation.3. Alcohol testing will be conducted during this competition. All participants will undergo an alcohol test before the race, and those who fail the test will not be allowed to compete.4. Participants must meet the age requirements outlined in the competition rules and demonstrate the ability to swim 1,500 meters or more in open water, or have prior experience successfully crossing large rivers, lakes, or other expansive bodies of water.5. In the event of personal injury or property damage caused by individual health conditions or other personal reasons during the competition, the participant shall bear full responsibility.(5) Currently active, registered professional swimmers are not permitted to compete in the racing category. Any athlete found in violation will have their eligibility and race results immediately disqualified.All participants (Crossing Group and Racing Group) must register via an online platform. The Crossing Group accepts only team registrations, while the Racing Group is open exclusively to individual entries. To sign up, search for the official registration mini-program corresponding to your group on WeChat, enter the event registration system, and complete the registration by providing your personal information as requested. For the Racing Group, successful registration will be confirmed once the online payment is made. Payment details for the Crossing Group will be announced separately.1. The crossing group is open to participants aged 18 to 65 (born between May 25, 1960, and May 25, 2007, based on ID card age).2. The racing group is open to participants aged 18 to 45 (born between May 24, 1980, and May 24, 2007, based on ID card age).1. River Crossing Group: 150 RMB per personThe fee includes: the participant pack, commemorative medal, event-specific swimwear, swim cap, goggles, safety buoy, and other related event materials.2. Admission Rankings and Awards(1) There will be no prizes for the Crossing Group; instead, participants will receive an electronic finisher certificate, which can be downloaded from the official website after the event.
(II) Ranking and Rewards for the Boat Racing Competition:

Note: No cash prizes will be distributed on-site; instead, they will be paid out within 10 working days after the public announcement period concludes without any objections. All prize amounts mentioned above will be subject to a 20% personal income tax, as stipulated by the "Individual Income Tax Law of the People's Republic of China," which will be withheld and remitted by the organizing committee on your behalf.1. For categories with fewer than 30 participants, the prize will be awarded to 40% of the actual number of entrants, and the prize amount remains unchanged.2. Each participant in the Crossing Group will receive one commemorative medal from the event. Athletes finishing the Race Group will all be awarded a finisher’s medal and a finisher’s pack upon completion. Additionally, the top three athletes in each gender category of the Race Group will receive event trophies and participate in the official awards ceremony.14. Circuit Breaker MechanismThis event will implement a circuit-breaker mechanism under extreme conditions. Participants must adhere to the competition rules and, as required, voluntarily withdraw from the race.If extreme heat, extreme cold, severe drought, heavy rainfall, or intense convective weather occurs—either as predicted before the event or on the day of the competition—the event organizing committee and the judging panel will assess the situation and activate the "circuit-breaker" mechanism, deciding whether to shorten the race distance, postpone the event, or cancel it altogether.In the event of sudden situations—such as natural disasters, safety incidents, public health emergencies, or social security events—that are directly or indirectly linked to the event, the event organizing committee may, after careful assessment, activate the "circuit-breaker" mechanism to decide whether to shorten the race distance, postpone the event, or cancel it altogether.15. The organizing committee of the event reserves the final right of interpretation for this activity.16. Each delegation should be accompanied by a team doctor, who may also serve as an event participant.

I hereby commit to strictly adhering to all rules, procedures, and organizational guidelines, and confirm that the identity documents and health information provided to the event organizing committee are accurate and truthful.2. I am currently in excellent health, with no conditions that would prevent me from participating in sports or any illnesses that the organizing committee advises against for this event. My physical condition and fitness level fully qualify me to take part in the 2025 China • Sanmenxia Mother River Crossing Event.3. I am fully aware that swimming is a high-risk, high-danger sport. I have thoroughly understood the potential hazards associated with this event—such as the route, weather conditions, and the unpredictable waves of the Yellow River. I fully endorse the safety measures and medical emergency protocols provided by the organizing committee for this crossing event. I am well-prepared for any possible accidents or injuries that may occur during the competition, fully accept and cooperate with the committee’s emergency response procedures, and voluntarily agree to bear all related costs and consequences.4. During the duration of this event, I shall assume full responsibility for any personal injury, death, or property damage caused by my own illness, violations, or other personal reasons—none of which will be the responsibility of the organizing committee. In addition to any insurance claims, I and my family members voluntarily waive all rights to pursue legal claims—including compensation—for damages against the organizers, sponsors, and fellow team members.5. In the event of an injury sustained during participation in this event, the compensation provided by the’ personal insurance policy will be voluntarily transferred—by me and my family—to the insured person, who will serve as the party responsible for covering any resulting liabilities.6. I and my relatives have carefully read and fully understood the above content, and hereby confirm our agreement.
