Stunning her, the angel descending from heaven

Today, we're sharing about the alpine skier featured in the blockbuster movie "Heaven Is Calling."Angel CollinsonHighlights from this incredible athlete, who claimed the women’s title at the 2011 Freeride World Championships, as she takes on Alaska’s iconic snowlines in the film.

However, the most unforgettable moment came in early 2016, when she filmed an alpine skiing sequence in Alaska—and narrowly escaped with her life, experiencing a near-miracle that left her virtually unharmed! While carving down an almost sheer mountain slope, a careless mistake sent her tumbling uncontrollably down the snowy cliff. For a heart-pounding 30 seconds, she plummeted nearly 1,000 feet (about 305 meters)—a fall that could’ve easily been fatal. Yet miraculously, not only was her life spared, but she emerged almost entirely unscathed—save for two minor injuries to her fingers, which clearly qualified as "light wounds." It truly felt like a stroke of pure, unbelievable luck.

It's this very ski champion, blessed with divine skills that protect him, whose performance in "Heaven Calls" is equally worth watching.
Here's the video—time for me to go and pay my respects! (Seriously, just looking at these images and that powdery snow makes my heart race...)
