Ski Resort Updates | Latest Trail Opening Announcement from Chongli Ski Resort

After Wanlong, Hebei’s first ski resort, kicked off its season with the first runs, other resorts are also reporting exciting news—today, Dolomite has already begun its inaugural skiing day. However, Quxue.com advises skiers not to rush into booking just yet; instead, take a moment to check out the detailed conditions of each resort and choose the one that best fits your schedule.

Duo Le Mei Di

Dolemeidi is undoubtedly the most popular ski resort for snow tubing today. Although they announced two days ago that the Rome and Milan runs would open today, the Milan slope couldn’t be ready due to recent warmer temperatures in Chongli. The resort now plans to let skiers enjoy the left side of the Milan run for their first glide tomorrow. For those eager to tackle the advanced slopes, nearby options like Miyun Yunding or Wanlong Ski Resort are worth considering. If budget isn’t an issue, guests can stay right at the resort; but for those looking to save money, there are plenty of affordable hotels available just outside the ski area.

This year, Duole has launched a ski academy. If you're looking to systematically learn skiing skills, feel free to inquire about tuition fees before making your decision.

Wanlong Ski Resort

This year, Wanlong became the first ski resort in China to officially open for the season. Although the snow conditions weren’t yet perfect that day, it certainly quenched the eager anticipation of many ski enthusiasts! Last week’s heavy snowfall in Chongli instantly transformed the slopes into a skier’s paradise—some even got to experience pristine powder snow, which sounds absolutely magical. And this week, Wanlong Ski Resort is still keeping the Jinlong Run open, along with select backcountry trails. For those who aren’t quite confident in their skiing skills, the lower section of Jinlong offers a more beginner-friendly, intermediate-level slope—perfect for a safe and enjoyable ride.

Slope opening status:

1. Golden Dragon Trail (Advanced Trail)

2. Partially off-piste trails

Meanwhile, the resort’s on-site hotel is fully operational, and guests can enjoy dining at three restaurants: Jinhuage, Blue Lake, and Qinglong, which serve a variety of cuisines including Beijing and Sichuan dishes.
