Yichun City Winter Swimming Association's New Year Celebration Carnival

On January 24, 2025, the Yichun City Winter Swimming Association held its 2024 Work Summary and Awards Ceremony, along with the Second Session of its Fourth Board of Directors, at the Mediterranean Banquet Center in Yichun City. In accordance with the spirit of Notice No. 1 (2025) issued by the General Administration of Sport of China’s Department of Mass Sports, the event also marked the official launch of the 2025 National Fitness Winter Swimming New Year Greeting Campaign.
President Zou Feng summarized the work carried out over the past year and outlined the plans for 2025. Vice President Yu Xiaoqing reported on the usage of the association’s membership fees. Vice President Xiong Guoping then announced the list of outstanding individuals, advanced winter-swimming teams, and exemplary winter-swimming team leaders. Finally, the association honored and rewarded Gan Bin, the gold medalist, and Gao Li, the bronze medalist, both of whom excelled at the provincial-level competitions in 2024.
Following the guidelines outlined in the notice from the General Administration of Sport of China and the requirements of the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, the association also held a special launch ceremony for the "Yichun City Winter Swimming Association’s 2025 National Fitness Winter Swimming New Year Greeting Event," tailored specifically to the unique characteristics of winter swimming. Additionally, a dedicated video showcasing the event was produced to promote the initiative.
The annual event concluded successfully with a spirited winter swimming slogan, and participants—swimmers who attended this year's gathering—happily donned red scarves, declaring that this year's conference felt like a vibrant New Year’s Eve carnival hosted by the Yichun City Winter Swimming Association!
