As December kicks in, major ski resorts are buzzing with new updates. Some resorts are increasing the number of open slopes, while others are adjusting prices now that trial skiing has wrapped up. Skiers planning their trips this week can check out the latest resort pricing and slope availability—and don’t forget to book your weekend sessions in advance to secure your spot!

One

Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort

☞ Open Ski Runs: As of now, all front-mountain runs at Nanshan Ski Resort are open except for the Big Air jump. On the back mountain, in addition to the already-opened row of wave runs, the advanced run and the east- and west-facing gap runs are expected to open on Saturday, December 5. Meanwhile, one additional prop will be added to the intermediate trail at Nanshan Melo Park.

➤Book one day in advance to enjoy discounted ski rates: 4 hours for 165 yuan on weekdays, or 185 yuan for the full day; and 255 yuan for 4 hours or 295 yuan for the entire day on weekends. Prices include admission tickets, insurance, a full set of ski equipment, and lift/tow rope usage fees.

Beijing Yuyang International Ski Resort ☞

☞ Open slopes: One beginner slope, one intermediate slope, two magic carpets, one surface lift, and a double chairlift are available.

☞ Ski pass price: This is the trial rate.

Weekdays: 39 RMB per person (includes admission, all-day skiing, and ski equipment);

Beijing Shijinglong Ski Resort

☞ Open slopes: 2 beginner trails

☞ Snow ticket prices:

➀ Weekday Pass: 1,080 yuan includes admission, allows unlimited use by any number of people, and is valid only on weekdays. It grants 10 unlimited-time skiing sessions on weekdays. Not valid on weekends or holidays. Valid for the entire 2015–2016 ski season, with no limit on usage.

➁ Weekend Multi-Ride Pass: 2,980 yuan includes admission, unlimited riders, and offers 20 unrestricted ski sessions—valid on weekends or weekdays—during the 2015-2016 snow season. Limited to 100 tickets.

➂ On-Site Equipment Pass: 2,080 yuan—available only to guests bringing their own snow gear. This pass is issued under a real-name system and includes access to the slopes with no time or session limits. It can be used any day of the week, including weekends and weekdays, as well as during holidays. The pass is non-transferable and valid exclusively for the 2015–2016 ski season. Limited to 50 tickets only.
