Notice from the Swimming Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport on Hosting the 14th National Aquatic Aerobics Championships in 2025

To fully implement the "National Fitness Regulations" and promote the development of swimming and fitness activities in China, the 14th National Aquatic Aerobics Championships 2025, hosted by the Swimming Sports Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and organized by the Chinese Swimming Association, with support from the Huangshan City Sports Bureau and executed by Huangshan Xinao Sports Development Co., Ltd., will be held from October 24 to 26, 2025, at the Huangshan City Swimming Pool in Anhui Province. Details are as follows:

3. Requirements

(II) All judges are requested to independently study the "National Water Aerobics Competition Rules."
(III) Referees shall not concurrently serve as coaches or team leaders.
(IV) All individuals serving as referees must attend pre-match training.
4. Registration and Check-in
(1) Each participating team must complete the registration form using the computer-generated template (with official seal affixed) and submit it either via email or by postal mail to the organizing unit no later than October 14 (as indicated by the local postmark). (II) Each participating team is requested to designate a specific representative who will, upon registration, confirm the event entries, pay the entry fee, and submit a signed "Voluntary Participation Liability Agreement."
(III) Participating teams are requested to complete the accommodation reservation form (see Attachment 4) and send it to the registration email address by October 17.
(IV) Participating teams are requested to check in by 2:00 PM on October 22 at the designated hotel—Huishang International Hotel. The check-in address is No. 19 Qianyuan North Road, Tunxi District, Huangshan City. Adaptation training will take place on the 23rd, with competitions held from the 24th to the 26th.
(V) Teams are requested to designate a specific representative to attend the Organizing Committee, Referees, Team Leaders, and Coaches Technical Meeting on October 23 at 19:00.
5. Funding
(1) The Organizing Committee will provide event services from 2:00 PM on October 22 until 1:30 PM on October 27 (including meals, accommodation, round-trip transportation between the hotel and competition venue, registration fees, training fees, insurance costs, and other event-related expenses, all collected centrally by the Organizing Committee). Additionally, the Organizing Committee will arrange airport/train station-to-hotel shuttle services, with charges based on the itinerary and vehicle type.
(II) The organizing committee will cover the accommodation, meals, and travel expenses (including hard sleeper train tickets or discounted airfare) for the designated personnel.
(III) Each participating team must provide its own referees, and all related expenses are at their own cost.
(IV) All participants (including team leaders, coaches, and athletes) are required to pay a event service fee of 135 yuan, which includes 25 yuan for personal accident insurance and the participation package.
(V) Each team member must pay a food and accommodation fee of 350 yuan per person per day, which includes (double room charges at the hotel, meals, and round-trip transportation between the base camp and competition venue). An additional daily rate of 180 yuan applies for those who require a single room.
(6) Please ensure that participating teams remit the event service fee, insurance fee, and accommodation/meal expenses to the Organizing Committee by October 17. When making the wire transfer, be sure to include a remark specifying the name of your participating organization.

4. How to Participate
(1) The university group is divided into sports university teams and general university teams, and only current faculty and students are eligible to register for the competition.
(II) Only current students are eligible to register and compete in the Middle School and Elementary School categories.
(III) Age Groups

5. Competition Rules
(1) Adopt the "National Aquatic Aerobics Competition Rules" issued by the Chinese Swimming Association2024Revised edition of the year).
(II) Participating teams must perform the bare-handed group compulsory exercises.(See the attachment for detailed regulations.6)
Freehand Standard Exercise RoutineOf the 12 prescribed movements, at least 8 must be performed in sequence to form a routine, with each movement repeated at least 4 times. The routine must include 4 distinct poses. Additionally, the total time spent performing arm movements underwater must add up to no less than 2 minutes.

(5)Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and accessories that perfectly match the musical theme in their partnered or group routines.
(Six) All participating projects must use different music.
(Seven) All events will feature a single final round, with rankings determined by performance. In cases of tied scores, the tied competitors will share the same ranking, and the next position will be skipped entirely.
(Eight) Participants must present their Competition Cards to the judges during check-in; those without a card will not be allowed to compete.
(Nine) Any team found to have impersonated others or submitted falsified information will have their competition results disqualified.
(Ten)To set a positive example for young people, anyone with tattoos is asked to cover them up before the competition (using concealer foundation or similar products). Otherwise, participants will not be allowed to compete.
6. Admission Ranking and Awards
(1) Before admission to each project's respective groupEight individuals will receive the "National Sports Competition Award Certificates," uniformly produced by the Swimming Center of the General Administration of Sport of China.The top three will receive medals.

(5) Method for Scoring Team Total Points
1. For the freehand group routine, partner exercises, and group routines, scoring will be based on 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
2. The team’s total score will be calculated by summing up the individual rankings from each team’s performance in the compulsory floor exercise, pair routine, and group routine. In case of a tie in total scores, the team with more first-place finishes will rank higher; if still tied, the team with more second-place finishes will take precedence, and so on.
