Results from Day 3 of the 2025 National Summer Swimming Championships



On June 16, the 2025 National Summer Swimming Championships entered its third day, with gold medals awarded in seven events that day.
In the men's 50-meter backstroke final, Wang Zicheng from Hubei Haosa Team clinched the gold medal with a time of 25.21 seconds, while Lin Tao of Guangdong Taitie Team took home the silver with 25.37 seconds. Wang Yutian from Hubei Haosa Team secured the bronze with a time of 25.66 seconds.

In the women's 50m freestyle final, Yang Junxuan from Shandong Zhaoke team clinched the gold with a time of 25.15 seconds—marking her first victory of the year. Liu Zixuan from Hebei Taihua team finished second in 25.37 seconds, while Lü Yue from Zhejiang Shouxianggu team secured the bronze medal with a time of 25.43 seconds.

In the men's 200m butterfly final, Zhejiang Shouxian Valley's Xu Yizhou clinched the gold medal with a time of 1:58.68, while Guangxi Haosa team's Wu Junxin finished second in 1:59.81, and Tianjin 361° team's Wu Guanshuai took home the bronze with a time of 2:01.87.

In the women's 200m backstroke final, Sun Mingxia from the Beijing Sports Lottery team clinched the gold medal with a time of 2:09.39, while Qian Xin'an of the Zhejiang Shouxian Valley team took home the silver with 2:09.94, and Zhu Yingnuo from the same Zhejiang Shouxian Valley squad secured the bronze in 2:12.52.

In the men's 100m breaststroke final, Wang JunTeng from Shandong Zhaoke team won the gold with a time of 1:00.00, while Dong Yifan of Zhejiang Shouxianggu team took silver in 1:01.41, and Liao Jialiang from Guangxi Haosha team claimed bronze with 1:01.64.

In the women's 400m individual medley, seven athletes from Zhejiang Shouxian Valley Team advanced to the final and swept the top three spots. Mao Yihan clinched the gold medal with a time of 4:42.44, followed closely by Liu Yanxi, who took silver in 4:42.70, and Fan Yaqi, who claimed bronze in 4:43.24. The only athlete not representing the Zhejiang team was Ge Chutong from Shandong Zhuke, finishing fifth with a time of 4:48.40.

In the men's 200m freestyle final, Chen Jun'er from Guangdong Te'cai Team clinched the gold medal with a time of 1:47.63, while Ge Pingyang of Anhui HaoSha Team took home the silver with 1:48.84, and Chen Ende from Zhejiang Shouxian Valley Team secured bronze in 1:49.41.

The finals for the men's 100m freestyle, 200m individual medley, and the women's 200m butterfly and 1500m freestyle will take place on the evening of June 17.
