Vanke Songhua Lake Resort

The Daqingshan Ski Resort, part of the Songhua Lake Ski Area, lies within the southern foothills of the Changbai Mountains. It boasts abundant snow with a perfect balance of density and texture—characterized by its fine, small-grained quality. Thanks to its proximity to Songhua Lake, the resort benefits from moisture evaporating off the lake surface, which condenses into frost on the cooler slopes of Daqingshan at night. This natural phenomenon not only replenishes the ski area with fresh powder but also gives rise to one of China’s "Four Great Natural Wonders"—rime ice, creating a breathtakingly ethereal landscape that resembles an otherworldly silver-white forest.

The Songhua Lake Ski Resort is developed, consulted on, and operationally managed by Japan's Prince Hotel Corporation. The Japanese side has dispatched several experts to conduct site surveys and planning, as well as oversee quality control during the construction phase, ensuring that the ski runs meet all planned specifications. The resort has introduced world-class cable cars, snow groomers, and snowmaking equipment sourced from Austria, Italy, and other leading global manufacturers. With its unprecedented scale of ski slopes, cutting-edge skiing facilities, and exceptional natural resources, the resort is dedicated to creating a world-class skiing destination.

Surrounded by mountains on three sides, Beidahu (Hú) offers excellent winter shelter from strong winds—often experiencing near-gale-free conditions—and features a remarkably mild and ideal climate for skiing. Beidahu (Hú) Ski Resort provides the perfect setting for a wide range of alpine and Nordic skiing disciplines, including high-altitude skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, freestyle skiing, biathlon, as well as thrilling snow activities like sledding and bobsledding.
