►To learn how to ski, first master the basic stance:
☞ Bend your knees, maintaining maximum flexibility.
☞ Hold both hands level to help maintain balance.
☞ The upper body should also maintain maximum flexibility, smoothly coordinating with the skateboard movements and adopting the necessary reactive postures.
►The safe fall technique for the heel side:
☞ Land on your buttocks first (make sure to wear protective gear on your hips!).
☞ Gradually release the force in the order of hips, waist, and hands.
☞ Even when wearing a helmet, avoid letting your head hit the snow surface directly.
►The toeside standing technique
☞ Support yourself with the steel edge on the side of your toes and your knees.
☞ Use your hands for support, and lift your lower body first.
☞ Hand off the ground until fully standing.
►Dolomite opens its ski slopes this week.
☞ Rome (Beginner Level), Milan (Intermediate Level), Florence (Advanced Level).
