Li Bingjie and Yang Junxuan will pursue master's degrees in sports at Beijing Sport University.



On May 12, the official website of the Science and Education Department of the General Administration of Sport of China released the "Public Notice on the Proposed List of Athletes and Coaches Recommended for the 2025 Graduate Champion Class," highlighting Li Bingjie and Yang Junxuan—both members of the women's 4x200m freestyle relay team that won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics—as candidates recommended for direct admission to Beijing Sport University's 2025 Graduate Champion Class without taking the preliminary exam. Meanwhile, Tan Lü, who served as the head coach for Gong Zhenqi—the 2024 champion in the women's 4x200m freestyle event at the 21st World Swimming Championships—has been recommended to pursue a Master's degree in Sports Science at Shanghai University of Sport. Notably, Li Bingjie enrolled at Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (undergraduate program), in 2019, while Yang Junxuan joined Shenzhen University's Sports Training major in 2020.Bachelor's degree).
