Singapore World Aquatics Championships: China's synchronized swimming team defeats the neutral team to clinch their 3rd gold medal.

The 2025 World Aquatics Championships' artistic swimming events continued on the 22nd. In the day's competition, China clinched the gold medal in the team technical routine final with a score of 307.8001, marking the country's third gold at this year's championships. Meanwhile, Chinese swimmer Xu Huiyan won the silver medal in the women's solo free routine final, scoring 241.0025 points. The top spot went to Spain's Tello Casas Iris, who claimed the title with 245.1913 points, while neutral athlete Kadoshka Vasilina secured the bronze.

The Chinese team performed 12th in the Team Technical All-Around event, which was themed around "Monkey King" and featured music from last year's blockbuster game, *Black Myth: Wukong*. The team previously wowed the judges at the World Cup Final in Xi'an, clinching the gold medal in this event. For this World Championships, China once again embraced the same theme—but with a fresh twist in both the choreography and difficulty of their routines. In the end, the Chinese team claimed the top spot on the podium with a score of 307.8001, while the Neutral Team took home the silver medal, and Spain rounded out the podium with bronze.

Earlier in the day, during the women's solo free routine final, Xu Huiyan took to the stage as the 12th competitor. Her routine was identical to the one she performed at the World Cup Final, themed "Eternal Night Sky." Throughout the performance, Xu Huiyan showcased graceful movements in the water and demonstrated excellent synchronization with the music, effectively conveying her powerful message of embracing life's chaos, igniting inner strength, gathering momentum, and bravely pushing forward through the mist. However, compared to Spain's Tio Casas Iris, Xu Huiyan fell slightly short in terms of the precision and quality of her technical execution, ultimately earning herself the silver medal.
