Notice from the Swimming Center of the General Administration of Sport on Publicly Soliciting Bidding Entities to Host the 2026 Asian Events

The Asia Aquatics Federation (Asia Aquatics, hereafter referred to as the Federation) recently announced plans to host a series of high-profile swimming events in 2026, aiming to boost the development of swimming across Asia. To gain valuable experience in organizing international competitions, the Center has decided to publicly solicit applications from potential event organizers. Details are outlined below:
I. Submission Period
From the date of this notice until August 10, 2025
II. Call for Entries
(1) The 12th Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships
(II) The 12th Asian Water Polo Clubs Championships
(III) The 12th Asian Diving Championships
(Four) Asian Water Polo Championships (U18) & Qualification Tournament for World Aquatics Water Polo Championships (U18) – 2026
3. Participants Sought
(1) Sports administrative departments of provinces, municipalities, and counties, along with their affiliated units
(II) Local Swimming Associations
(III) Companies and enterprises with independent legal status, capable of independently assuming civil liabilities, and holding event-operation qualifications
(IV) Other organizations that meet the eligibility criteria for hosting the event
IV. Call for Submissions
(1) As the aforementioned event is organized by the Asian Swimming Federation, we are only seeking expressions of interest in hosting this time. If you have any questions regarding event hosting, please contact our center, and we will forward your inquiry to the Asian Swimming Federation on your behalf. Once the relevant organization has clearly indicated its intention to host, our center will formally submit a hosting application to the Asian Swimming Federation. Ultimately, the decision on who will host rests entirely with the Asian Swimming Federation.
(II) After the organizing entity is determined, our center will sign a tournament hosting agreement with the Asian Swimming Federation and the selected organizer.
