China's trio advances to the third round of Roland Garros, while veteran players head home one by one.
After two rounds, the seeded players in both men's and women's singles have been eliminated as follows:
Eleven men's singles seeds were eliminated, with the highest-ranked being No. 16 seed Jarry.
In the women's singles, 17 of the seeded players were eliminated—more than half of the total. The highest-ranked player among them was No. 6 seed Sakari.
Eight Chinese players saw three of them advance to the third round: Zhang Zhizhen, Zheng Qinwen, and Wang Xinyu.
