Given the current situation where some adolescents, due to insufficient awareness of the dangers posed by addictive substances like narcotics and psychotropic drugs, have been lured by harmful information—particularly from online sources—leading to the misuse of these substances,In June, the Ministry of Public Security, the General Administration of Sport, and the National Narcotics Control Office jointly launched a nationwide campaign to integrate drug prevention and anti-doping education and publicity, themed "Love Sports, Say No to Drugs, and Reject Doping."
The integrated education and awareness campaign will leverage sports as a platform, fully harnessing the value and functions of physical activity in enhancing physical fitness, fostering mental well-being, cultivating sound character, and strengthening resilience. It will promote the seamless integration of drug prevention and anti-doping elements into sports events and mass cultural and recreational activities. By combining science-based knowledge dissemination with engaging event content and advancing health-oriented philosophies in tandem, this initiative will comprehensively encourage the public—especially young people—to adopt healthy lifestyles, staying clear of the harmful influence of drugs and performance-enhancing substances.
The National Narcotics Control Office, jointly with the General Administration of Sport and the Shandong Provincial Narcotics Control Office, invited Olympic champions like Pan Zhanle to film a series of public service promotional videos and posters focused on drug prevention and anti-doping efforts. Starting June 19, these impactful PSAs and eye-catching posters have been gradually released across the internet, leveraging the champions' unwavering determination and powerful appeal to rally people nationwide in building an unbreakable fortress against drugs and doping.
