On the evening of July 28, the swimming events at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore awarded medals in four different categories.

Women's 200m individual medley final,12-year-old Yu Zidi swam a time of 2:09.21, dramatically surpassing her personal best to finish fourth—just 0.06 seconds behind the third-place finisher. Canadian star McIntosh claimed the gold medal with a stunning time of 2:06.69, while American athlete Alex·Walsh clinched the silver medal with a time of 2:08.58, while another Canadian athlete, Harvey, took home the bronze with 2:09.15.

Yu Zidi's preliminary round time was 2:11.90, earning her 15th place and advancing her to the semifinals; her semifinal time was 2:10.22.Ranking 7th, they significantly improved their personal best in the final round,One shot is better than the last.Yu Zidi started in lane 1 for the final, swimming third in the butterfly leg, maintained her third-place position during the backstroke segment, dropped to seventh in the breaststroke phase, but then launched a powerful final 50-meter freestyle sprint to climb back up to fourth place.

Additionally,Men's 100m Backstroke Semifinal, the only Chinese athlete, Xu JiaYu, swam a time of 53.14.Second, finishing 11th overall and missing out on the finals.

Women's 100m Backstroke SemifinalPeng Xuw ei advanced smoothly to the next round, setting a new personal best of 59.19 seconds and ranking sixth.Wan Letian finished tied for eighth place in 59.56 seconds but narrowly lost to the French athlete in the tiebreaker, missing out on a spot in the final.

Men's 200m Freestyle SemifinalZhang ZhanshuoSetting a new personal best with a time of 1:45.84, Pan Zhanle finished third in his heat but ultimately placed 11th overall, missing out on the final. Pan Zhanle also competed in this event, though he was eliminated in the preliminaries, recording a time of 1:47.46 and finishing 22nd.
