The National Swimming Training Work Conference was held, and Cui Dengguo was appointed as the head coach of the national swimming team for the Los Angeles Olympic cycle.

On May 14, the National Swimming Training Work Conference was held in Shenzhen, where Cui Dengrong was officially appointed as the head coach of the national swimming team for the new cycle. After careful consideration by the General Administration's Swimming Center, Cui Dengrong has been formally hired as the head coach, with a contract period running from May 2025 to December 2028. The head of the General Administration's Swimming Center presented Cui Dengrong with his appointment letter.
Heads and colleagues from various teams within the national swimming team—including the scientific research team, nutrition group, medical support team, physical training group, rehabilitation team, and research task force—also shared their experiences in preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics with the attendees.
