Notice from the Swimming Center Regarding the Hosting of the 2025 National Training Workshop for Heads and Managers of Swimming Venue Organizations

To the relevant units:

To thoroughly implement the General Administration's guiding principles on strengthening national fitness initiatives, the Swimming Center and the Chinese Swimming Association will enhance their guidance efforts for mass sports activities, ensuring the personal safety of the public participating in swimming. Additionally, this initiative aims to further promote awareness of China’s laws and regulations governing swimming facilities, as well as to standardize the management practices of legal representatives, heads, and administrators at swimming venues across the country, ultimately improving their operational approaches. Therefore, the Swimming Center has decided to host the 2025 National Training Workshop for Legal Representatives, Heads, and Managers of Swimming Pool Facilities from March 13 to 15, 2025, in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Details regarding the event are outlined below:

1. Date and Location

The event will take place from March 13 to 15, 2025 (with registration on the 12th, training sessions from the 13th to the 15th, and departure on the 16th) at the Oriental Hotel in Xi'an.

II. Training Participants

(1) Management personnel responsible for swimming facility operations—such as sports authorities, swimming centers, and swimming associations—from all provinces (autonomous regions), municipalities, and counties across the country.

(II) Legal representatives and managers of swimming pool facilities across the country.

(III) Individuals interested in pursuing careers in swimming facility operations and management, swim club management, or other related fields, as well as current students majoring in swimming-related disciplines.

(IV) This training session is limited to 120 participants; registration will close once the quota is reached.

3. Training Content

This conference will feature renowned experts and scholars from China's sports industry as instructors, and relevant professionals are invited to attend and engage in discussions. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate of completion issued by the Chinese Swimming Association.

Main content:

(1) Introduction and analysis of current policies related to sports industry development, including requirements for opening swimming venues, as well as legal responsibilities associated with operation and management.

(II) Swimming Venue Operation and Management

(III) Construction, teaching, training management, and organization of swimming events at swimming venues and clubs

(IV) Intelligent Operation of Swimming Facilities

(V) Swimming Pool Water Quality Management

(6) Emergency Preparedness and Risk Management for Swimming Pool Facilities

4. Funding

(1) There is no registration fee for this training; however, participants will be responsible for their own transportation and travel expenses.

(II) Participants are required to pay a conference fee of 450 yuan per day per person, which covers (accommodation and meals, materials, and training venue fees, etc.). An additional charge of 150 yuan per day applies for single-room accommodation.

(III) Participants are required to pay an insurance fee of 25 yuan per person.

5. Registration Procedure:

(II) Payment Method:

After registration, the organizing committee from the co-organizer, Xi'an Zhirong Sports Consulting Service Co., Ltd., will notify you of the payment methods. Accepted options include: corporate bank transfer, official card swipes, WeChat Pay, Alipay transfers, and cash payments.

6. Registration and Departure

(1) Please check in promptly at the Xi'an Oriental Hotel (No. 26 Xiazhai West Road, Yanta District, Xi'an) from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on March 12.

(II) Depart by 2:00 PM on March 16.

(III) Upon registration, please submit the original application form, a photocopy of your ID card, and two 2-inch blue-background, bareheaded photos of yourself.

(IV) Transportation Routes:

1. Airport: Xi'an Xianyang Airport Shuttle Bus — to Oriental Hotel (direct route, takes about 50 minutes).

2. High-speed train: From Xi'an North High-speed Railway Station, take Metro Line 2 to Xiaozhai Station, then walk 500 meters westward to reach the hotel (the entire journey takes about 50 minutes).

3. By Train: From Xi'an Railway Station, take bus routes 603, K5, 14, or 30 and get off at Xiaozhai Station. From there, walk 500 meters westward to reach the hotel (the entire journey takes about 50 minutes).
